Accurate measuring results due to laser precision

The new BD16 can be used for the quick and easy determination of exact distance, area and volume measurements by means of laser precision at no more than the push of a button – even at poorly accessible locations. Moreover, the measuring device of manageable size flawlessly calculates floor space or wall surfaces as well as room volume. As a result you can easily estimate the need for working material such as wall paint, parquet or tiles.

Its measuring accuracy with a deviation of only 3 millimetres and a maximum range of about 40 metres make the distance measuring device an ideal tool for craftsmen and do-it-yourselfers alike.

Despite its versatile functional range, the BD16 is extremely easy to handle, for every setting has its own button. In addition to the functions 'Pythagoras' and 'Pythagoras times two', enabling indirect calculations of distances, heights or partial heights, the device is provided with settings for lightning-fast measurements of distances, areas and volumes, with a non-stop measuring mode including MIN and MAX value tracking as well as the addition and subtraction of measuring results.

Since accurate laser measurements are a question of measuring precisely in a horizontal line, he measuring device is further equipped with a spirit level function implemented in form of a bubble. Further advantages of the measuring device are i.a. the user-friendly automatic saving of the 10 most recent measured values and the energy-saving automatic switch-off function (after 30 seconds for the laser, after 3 minutes in case of the measuring instrument as a whole).

The large, illuminated multi-line display with its white, inverted, easy-to-read digits is surrounded by a robust dust- and splash-proof housing in keeping with IP54. The well-rounded equipment of the BD16 is completed by a practical belt clip.
